    PDP has recently been contracted by the World Bank to support the Mongolian Civil Service Council in the development of proposals for a new civil service grade structure, to conduct a sample survey of pay in the civil service, and to identify benchmark jobs; and to undertake a pay comparator study with selected private sector organizations.

  • Fiduciary Risk Assessment and External Advisory Panel

    Following on from PDP’s work in 2007, PDP has been retained by the World Bank to conduct the Integrated Fiduciary Assessment and External Advisory Panel review of the Public Financial Management Reform Program (PFMRP) in Cambodia. PDP is undertaking a Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) based fiduciary assessment of the public financial management task environment, assessing the effectiveness of technical assistance being provided to the PFMRP, and providing recommendations for enhancing program implementation.
     

  • Local Government Finance & Governance Reform

    PDP has recently been contracted to undertake ADB’s most recent project in Indonesia, Local Government Finance and Governance Reform. PDP’s eight-person team will provide support to the Government of Indonesia over a period of one and half years, in (i) building institutional capacity in development and implementation of a medium-term reform agenda in RG financing and governance; and (ii) facilitating the achievement of targets and commitments in Subprogram 2 of the LGFGR 2 policy matrix.
     

  • Responding to the Financial Crisis

    PDP is has recently started work on ADB’s Responding to the Financial Crisis in the Marshall Islands. The PDP team is providing support to the ADB and Government of the Marshall Islands in identifying options available to reduce the wage and salary burden and to analyze the implications of those identified options. Specifically, the PDP team has been tasked with: (i) identifying the immediate options available to reduce the wage and salary burden (for example, eliminating non-essential over-time, enforcing mandatory retirement age, etc.); (ii) analyzing the implications of those identified options; (iii) providing information on how the Marshall Islands Government would undertake and implement a workforce review to optimize the size of the Government to deliver public services; and (iv) analyzing the implications of a workforce review.
